Letter to Edward Morike [manuscript]. 1856.

Letter to Eduard Friedrich Morike (1804-1875), one of the greatest poets in the German language. The letter praises Morike's great prose piece Mozart auf der Reise nach Prag published in Morgenblatt fur gebildete Stande in 1855 and in book form in 1856. Franz is enclosing a score he has composed for Morike's lyrics. The facsimile is one of 400 produced in 1930.
